Mansfield Town have completed the signing of defender Owen Dodgson on a season-long loan from fellow League One club Stockport County.
The 23-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Hatters last season as they ended the campaign beaten finalists in the League One play-off final at Wembley.
Dodgson can play as a left-back, left wing-back or in a defensive midfield role.
He becomes Nigel Clough’s fifth signing of the summer window, joining former Barnsley pair David McGoldrick and Jon Russell, as well as Michael Smith and Liam Thompson through the door at Field Mill.
