The “looksmaxxing” personality known as Clavicular has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, online court records show.
The charges listed against Clavicular, 20, whose real name is Braden Peters, are one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and one count of procuring liquor for someone under 21 years old, according to the records.
The charges were filed Sept. 8, and the alleged offenses occurred May 23, 2025, the records indicate. More details about the allegations were not immediately available.
Online court records did not show an attorney who could speak on his behalf Monday night.
The Bulwark first reported the charges. A representative for Clavicular, Mitchell Jackson, said the outlet was “exaggerating” in its report and that Clavicular had not been served with an arrest warrant.
“Braden Peters has not been physically served. As usual the Bulwark is exaggerating,” Jackson said in a text message Monday night.
An email to the general mailbox of The Bulwark seeking comment was not immediately returned late Monday.
An arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 14, according to the court records.
Clavicular has gained internet fame — and notoriety — for a trend among young men known as “looksmaxxing,” which Meriam-Webster Dictionary recently called, “The practice of taking one or more sometimes extreme or dangerous measures intended to increase one’s physical attractiveness.”
He has been known for “bone smashing,” or using a hammer to intentionally break facial bones so they grow back stronger or looking better. The trend has been called potentially unhealthy and dangerous by experts.
Clavicular in April was sued by a teenage influencer in Florida who accused him of battery.
Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who online is known as Alorah or Alorah Ziva, filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County that alleged that in 2025 he arranged for her to go to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, gave her vodka until she was drunk, and then had sex with her while she was intoxicated, NBC South Florida reported.
Online court records do not indicate whether the charges of rape, drugging or procurement of alcohol to someone under 21 are related to the allegations in the lawsuit.
Clavicular’s attorney at the time said that he denies the allegations and “intends to vigorously defend himself,” according to the news station.
Clavicular and two other people in April were also charged in Florida with shooting at an alligator. He and another person pleaded no contest to unlawfully discharging a firearm in public and were given six months of probation and ordered to serve 20 hours of community service, according to NBC South Florida.
He was also hospitalized in April in Miami after a suspected overdose. He said in a livestream at the time after being released from the hospital that, “I ain’t gonna be doing any more substances for a little while, hopefully for forever.”
