The Los Angeles Rams and All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie have reached agreement on a record four-year, $124 million extension that includes $100 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday night.
The deal will make McDuffie the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history.
It comes just days after the Rams agreed to a trade with the Chiefs for McDuffie, with a package of picks that includes the No. 29 selection in the 2026 NFL draft going to Kansas City.
The 25-year-old McDuffie was entering the final season of his rookie deal. Last April, the Chiefs exercised his fifth-year option, making his 2026 salary of $13.6 million fully guaranteed.
