Kerry Washington‘s Simpson Street will premiere “Between Me and You,” a new scripted audio drama starring Jurnee Smollett, Jack Falahee and Stephanie Hsu, on April 16, exclusively from Audible.
The eight-episode Audible Original is based on the novel of the same name by Allison Winn Scotch, who co-wrote audio adaptation with Pete Chiarelli. “Between Me and You” follows “a rising actress and a once-promising screenwriter as their marriage unravels under the pressures of ambition, jealousy and betrayal,” per the series description. In addition to Smollett, Falahee and Hsu, the cast of “Between Me and You” includes Ugo Chukwu, Kalyne Coleman, Tyla Collier, Susannah Flood, Russell G. Jones, Zachary Keller and Caroline Neff. The series is directed by Logan Vaughn and produced by Audible and Simpson Street.
“Between Me and You” comes under Simpson Street and Audible’s multi-podcast deal first inked in 2022. The partnership has resulted in two seasons of “The Prophecy,” a Bible-inspired supernatural drama starring Washington, who also served as an executive producer on the show.
