Defending champion Kyren Wilson beat Zhao Xintong 10-8 in a thrilling match to set up a Shanghai Masters final against world number one Judd Trump.
Wilson, 34, held a one-frame lead after the early session following a bold attempt at a 147 which fell short at 113.
The semi-final was finely poised at 8-8, with Wilson, who was behind 8-6, winning the final four frames.
The world number seven now faces Trump in Sunday’s best-of-21 decider, with the prize money £210,000 for the winner.
Trump is aiming for his second Shanghai Masters title after beating world champion Wu Yize 10-6 in Saturday’s semi-final.
Wilson, who beat Trump at the Players Championship final last year, is eyeing a third Shanghai Masters title after edging past Ali Carter 11-9 in last year’s final.
