Billy Crystal is returning to Broadway.
The beloved performer has announced a new one-man show, “860,” which is opening this fall. “860” was written by Crystal and named after the address of the home he lost in the 2025 Palisades fire. Crystal was one of thousands whose house was destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton fires, which were among the most destructive in California history.
“I am thrilled to return to Broadway this fall with this challenging new show,” said Billy Crystal. “860 was the address of the home we lost in the Palisades fires. We lived there for 46 years. I invite you to come inside 860 and I’ll tell you all the funny and touching things that happened there, not only in my career but to our family. It’s a joyous and heartfelt visit, about how with the love of family and friends and your inner strength, you can get through tough times. I look forward to returning to Broadway and welcoming audiences to ‘860’.”
Previews will begin in October. The production will play a limited 12-week engagement at a Shubert Theater that’s yet to be announced. Scott Ellis, whose many theater credits include “Pirates! The Penzance Musical,” “Doubt” and “Take Me Out,” is directing.
“860” will be produced by Janice Crystal, James L. Nederlander, Larry Magid, and Face Productions. Additional production and creative team members will be announced in the coming weeks.
Crystal is best known for “When Harry Met Sally,” “City Slickers” and “Analyze This.” He made his Broadway debut in 2004 with his one-man show “700 Sundays,” for which he won a Tony Award. He returned to the Great White Way in 2022 with “Mr. Saturday Night,” a musical adaptation of the 1992 film.
