A “John Wick” video game is in the works from Saber Interactive and Lionsgate with star Keanu Reeves reprising his role for the single-player third-person action title.
Described as a AAA video game “tailored for mature audiences,” the title is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Sand PC.
The untitled “John Wick” game will combine John Wick’s “unparalleled, adrenaline-fueled ‘gun-fu’ fighting style with Saber’s proven reputation for creating thrilling gaming experiences that leave players craving more.”
“John Wick” franchise director Chad Stahelski and Reeves are involved in the game’s development.
“I can’t wait for fans to step into the shoes of John Wick and explore the multi-dimensional world of The High Table,” stated Jenefer Brown, President of Global Products & Experiences at Lionsgate. “We are collaborating closely with Saber’s dedicated team to develop a game that captures the unparalleled action, brand-defining fight choreography, immersive world-building, and authenticity of the films.”
