Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson says it will feel “very special” when his side play in front of their biggest-ever crowd at West Ham United on Friday.
More than 60,000 fans are expected at London Stadium as Wrexham take on the team second in the Championship.
The attendance would surpass the 54,096 who watched Wrexham face Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup fourth round in January 1970.
“We’ve had some big attendances over the years, but to be part of a Wrexham team going there to play in front of the highest ever crowd is very special,” Parkinson said.
“It was certainly a fixture everybody was looking out for when the fixtures came out back in June.
“Fantastic arena and obviously a very famous stadium with the Olympics back there in 2012.”
West Ham left their traditional Boleyn Ground in Upton Park to take up residence at the London Stadium – built for the 2012 London Olympics – in Stratford prior to the 2016-2017 season.
“It’s going to be a real sell-out crowd and one everybody’s really looking forward to being part of,” added Parkinson.
“I’ve managed to go there with Bolton once in the cup.
“It’s got a different feel to it, obviously because of the running track around it, but it’s still an amazing arena to play at and the lads are looking forward to it.”
